Our son loves to play, and our ceramic vases didn't always survive it.
So we started making vases that take a drop better than ceramic. We print them layer by layer from plant-based PLA and finish each one by hand.
How we work
Three steps, no shortcuts.
- 01We shape
Every shape starts on screen; we print it and change it until the silhouette and the ribs are right.
- 02We print
The printer lays PLA layer by layer. One vase takes 8 to 14 hours. The layer lines stay visible up close.
- 03We finish
We clean the rims and the base by hand, check every vase and pack it with a care card.
Honest about the material
PLA, not ceramic.
- The material is plant-based PLA. It is drop-resistant, not indestructible. Metallic colours are a look, not metal.
- Not for water. The vases are for dried flowers, branches or to stand on their own. Fresh flowers need a glass insert with water.
- You can see the layers. Up close, as fine lines. They are the trace of the process.
